MagneGen®
SuperMag
U.S.
Patent No. 5,269,916 issued December 13, 1993
The MagneGen®
SuperMag is a proven and economical magnetic water treatment product for
home water systems using non-ferrous (PVC, copper, stainless steel and
composites) pipes. The dense magnetic flux created by the patented condenser
completely bridges the inside of all non-ferrous pipes which causes partial
ionization of some of the water and dissolved solids in the flowing water.
This partial ionization prevents scale forming on the inside of the pipes
- and more importantly - on the inside of the home water heater.
Key
Benefits
-
Reduction in home water heating
costs by keeping the water heater clean (prevents scale, corrosion and
algae) thereby maximizing thermal transfers thus reducing electric or gas
or other form of power consumption.
-
Improved (a) oxygen availability
in water, (b) taste of water, (c) smell of water, (d) skin ton from bathing,
(e) hair condition from bathing.
-
Perceived softening (reduction
in surface tension) of the water resulting in increased sudsing and cleaner
rinsing and the reduction in detergent usage requirements.
-
Improved (a) sprouting in seeds,
(b) seedling and plant growth, (c) plant health, (d) soil permeability
thus saving irrigation water.
-
Uses a Crumax®
8A ceramic ferrite permanent magnet with a residual
induction of 3,900 Gauss bonded to a magnetic conducting steel frame resulting
in a magnetic circuit with a condensed flux available at the poles of 7,800
Gauss. Crumax® is
a registered trade name of Crumax Magnetics, Inc., which was merged into
Vacuumschmelze Gmbh, located at http://www.vacuumschmelze.com,
which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Morgan Crucible, Ltd., located at
http://www.morgancrucible.com.
